President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has strongly condemned the attacks carried out by Israel and the United States against Iran in the Middle East. The President emphasized that any assault infringing upon the sovereignty of a nation must cease immediately, asserting that no part of Maldivian territory will be permitted for use in any military action against an Islamic nation. Furthermore, he assured that the Maldives would not provide any land for foreign military purposes and reaffirmed that, while the Maldives maintains diplomatic ties with various nations—excluding Israel—no cooperation will be extended toward actions targeting Muslim countries.
