Although the fire at the “Prime Godown” in Maafannu has been brought under control, relevant authorities have urged the public to take necessary safety precautions due to the persisting smoke and chemical fumes in the area. In response to the incident, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has established emergency relief services and temporary shelter at the Social Centre for those affected.

Individuals requiring assistance are advised to contact the hotline at 115 or proceed directly to the Social Centre. Additionally, Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) and ADK Hospital have been placed on high alert to provide any necessary emergency medical care.
