Etihad Airways has announced the resumption of its flight services to selected destinations, effective today, following a temporary suspension due to regional tensions. These scheduled operations are set to take place between the 6th and 19th of this month. In a social media update, the airline confirmed that this decision follows comprehensive security assessments conducted in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the highest standards of passenger safety.
The airline will connect Abu Dhabi with 25 key global destinations, including the Maldives, London, New York, Frankfurt, Milan, Paris, Toronto, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo, and Bangkok.
Etihad is prioritizing the re-accommodation of passengers whose travel plans were disrupted by the suspension resulting from the U.S.-Iran conflict. Customers who purchased tickets prior to February 28 for travel up to March 21 may reschedule their trips for any date before May 15, 2026, without incurring additional fees. Furthermore, passengers scheduled to travel by March 21 have the option to cancel their bookings and request a full refund via the airline’s online portal or through their respective travel agents.
Due to a high volume of inquiries at their call centers, the airline encourages passengers seeking refunds to utilize the online request form for more efficient processing.
