On the occasion of National History Day, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu highlighted that Maldivian history is the most vital element in preserving the Maldives as a sovereign and independent nation. He noted that the stories of our ancestors and our historical monuments provide invaluable lessons, while history itself serves as the definitive evidence of Maldivian settlement on this land for centuries. Consequently, the President emphasized that the future vitality and progress of the nation remain deeply rooted in these historical truths.
