Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihusaan, has accused senior MDP members Akram Kamaluddin and Ibrahim Waheed of recording his wife and child in public. In a social media post accompanied by CCTV footage, the Minister stated that the two individuals recorded his family yesterday evening, after which the footage was circulated online via an anonymous account.
The Minister condemned the act, describing it as a “low-level” deed perpetrated by individuals who claim to advocate for the rights of women and children. While the shared CCTV footage shows the two men using their mobile phones, it does not explicitly capture the content being recorded. The leaked video in question criticized the fact that the Minister’s family was accompanied by bodyguards in public.
