Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran has received “positive signals” from the United States ahead of the scheduled discussions regarding Iran’s nuclear program, set for this coming Thursday. Earlier this month, the United States and Iran initiated a new round of negotiations concerning the nuclear project. With the second round of talks concluded, the third round is slated to take place this Thursday. Despite these developments, U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly warned that military action may be taken against Iran should they refuse to reach an agreement on the nuclear program. In preparation for such an eventuality, the United States is currently mobilizing troops and deploying military assets to the Middle East.

In a post on the social media platform X, President Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran’s primary objective is to establish regional stability and peace. He noted that both parties have exchanged proposals regarding the nuclear program and confirmed the receipt of “positive signals” from the U.S. side. However, Pezeshkian assured that Iran remains vigilant regarding U.S. actions and is fully prepared for any potential outcome. The United States maintains a condition that Iran must completely cease all uranium enrichment activities, asserting that such enrichment brings the country closer to developing nuclear weapons. Nevertheless, Iran has indicated a willingness to negotiate these matters and reach a mutual agreement.

Furthermore, the United States has stipulated that Iran must also export its existing stockpile of enriched uranium out of the country.
