Major League Soccer (MLS) has refuted claims that Lionel Messi entered the officials’ dressing room following Inter Miami’s defeat against Los Angeles FC. While footage appeared to show Messi entering a restricted area after leaving the pitch, the league confirmed that he did not approach the referees’ quarters. MLS further clarified that since no regulations were breached, the Argentine star will not face any disciplinary action.
Following their opening-season loss, Inter Miami is now preparing for their upcoming fixture against Orlando City. It is worth noting that Miami commenced the new season without two of their key players, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
