As part of the campaign for the Local Council Elections and the Women’s Development Committee, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu visited households in the Henveiru West constituency today to engage with citizens and understand their concerns. During this door-to-door activity, conducted alongside government ministers and PNC candidates, the President met with members of the public both on the streets and in their homes.
While the PNC aims to secure over 800 seats in this election, the party has already confirmed 70 seats uncontested. The upcoming election, scheduled for April, is expected to be a primary contest between the ruling PNC and the opposition MDP.
