The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, today officially inaugurated the Iftar program sponsored by the King of Saudi Arabia in the Maldives. Hosted at the Islamic Centre, this initiative is set to provide Iftar meals for 150 individuals daily throughout the holy month of Ramadan. This annual project, conducted by the Saudi government, stands as a symbol of the profound and enduring bilateral relations between the two nations. A significant number of people attended the inaugural Iftar event held today to mark the commencement of the program.
