Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has announced that keys for more than 3,600 apartments have been handed over to their respective owners out of the 4,000 housing units developed in Hulhumalé under the “Gedhoruveriya” housing scheme. As the government aims to ensure all recipients can move into their new homes before the month of Ramadan, agreements have been signed with 3,850 individuals thus far, with the majority already having received their keys.
However, some recipients have been unable to collect their keys due to various reasons, while administrative processing remains ongoing for 112 units that require further documentation verification. FDC is handing over these apartments with water and electricity services already established, while simultaneously working to develop the necessary essential facilities and amenities to ensure a comfortable living environment for the residents in the area.
