H.Dh. Naivaadhoo has secured the first place in the final of the Golden Futsal Challenge 2026 after defeating B. Eydhafushi in a closely contested semi-final match. The game concluded in a 1-1 draw at the end of regular time, following a highly competitive performance by both sides. Shafiu initially put Naivaadhoo ahead, but Eydhafushi’s Fasir managed to equalize, leading the match to a penalty shootout. Naivaadhoo ultimately triumphed in the shootout with a 4-3 victory. Yamin Mohamed of Naivaadhoo was named Man of the Match, marking the second consecutive year the team has successfully reached the tournament’s final.
