U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his opposition to the ongoing efforts by Zionist forces to seize lands in the occupied Palestinian territory of the West Bank. Reflecting Trump’s perspective on the matter, a White House official stated that maintaining peace and stability in the West Bank is crucial for broader regional security. Trump’s stance against the land seizures comes at a time when global concern over the issue is intensifying. The new measures aimed at facilitating further land grabs in the West Bank were recently announced by the extremist Finance Minister of the Zionist government, Bezalel Smotrich, and Defense Minister Israel Katz. These measures are designed to strip Palestinian residents of their land ownership in Hebron, effectively seizing the territory to authorize Zionist construction.

In a unified protest against these actions, eight Muslim nations—Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates—issued a joint statement. They condemned the Zionist decision as a violation of international law, describing it as a criminal act aimed at the illegal annexation of more Palestinian land. United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres also expressed deep concern over the decision. His spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric, remarked that such actions by the Zionist authorities diminish the prospects for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Furthermore, the United Kingdom and the European Union (EU) have called for a reversal of the decision. However, Smotrich maintained that the objective of these new measures is to eliminate and dismantle any possibility of creating an independent Palestinian state.
