In the Round of 16 of the women’s doubles at the Azerbaijan International Challenge, Maldives’ Aminath Nabeeha and Fathimath Nabaha faced a challenging defeat after competing against a high-ranking Indian pair. Despite the loss, the encounter served as a significant learning experience for the duo. In the men’s singles category, Zayan secured a victory in his opening match but was unfortunately eliminated in the second round. Furthermore, Nibal, Nabaha, and Nabeeha exited the competition following losses in their respective events. The Maldivian contingent was guided throughout the tournament by coach Nashfan Mohamed.
