Maldives Welcomes Year’s First Cruise Ship with 970 Passengers

The Maldives has welcomed the first cruise ship of the year, carrying nearly a thousand individuals. The vessel, MS Crystal Symphony, arrived on Monday, marking the commencement of cruise arrivals for this year. The ship carried a total of 970 people, including 479 tourists and 491 crew members. This inaugural cruise liner of the year traveled to the Maldives from the Seychelles.

Maldives Immigration has completed the necessary clearance procedures for all those who arrived on the vessel. The arrival of cruise ships and other visitors typically increases during the peak tourism season. This year is seeing a significant influx of visitors, with over 93,000 tourists having arrived in the Maldives so far.
