Ibrahim Falah, the Parliamentary Group Leader of PNC and Member for the Inguraidhoo constituency, has stated that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has served more completely than expected over the past two years. Falah described President Muizzu as a national treasure, noting that unlike previous leaders, he meets closely with the people and has initiated not only his pledged projects but also those requested by the citizens.
Falah made these remarks at a ceremony held by PNC last night to mark the government’s two-year anniversary, during which a cake was cut. The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Parliament, Abdul Raheem Abdulla, and senior party officials. Additionally, the President stated that more than 13,000 people participated in a large rally held by PNC last Friday night to celebrate the government’s two-year milestone. While PNC members describe this rally as the largest political event held in recent history, the gathering has also drawn criticism from the opposition and some members of the public.
