The foundation for the Fitness and Recreation Center to be established in Sh. Noomaraa has been laid. The foundation of the Noomaraa Fitness and Recreation Center was laid during a ceremony held in Noomaraa as part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s trip to Sh. Atoll. The Fitness and Recreation Center being built in Noomaraa is a project carried out in collaboration with Fenaka Corporation Limited. The foundation of this center was laid by the Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Abdullah Rafiu. The Managing Director of Fenaka, Major (Rtd.) Mohamed Najah, and the Vice President of Noomaraa Council participated in this ceremony, which was graced by the President.
The Fitness and Recreation Center being built in Noomaraa will be developed to include an indoor gym, meeting room, various board games, and facilities for many indoor sports. Building Fitness and Recreation Centers in all islands is a project that this government is prioritizing and implementing with great emphasis.
