President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has arrived in Noomaraa, Miladhunmadulu Uthuruburi (Shaviyani Atoll). Upon President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s arrival in Noomaraa, as part of his four-day official tour to Shaviyani Atoll, he was accorded a warm welcome by the island’s residents. During this tour, the President will visit all inhabited islands of the atoll, meeting with island councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDCs). He is also scheduled to discuss the developmental needs and priorities of the residents with them and meet with the general public of the islands.
During this particular tour, the President will visit 14 inhabited islands in Miladhunmadulu Uthuruburi (Shaviyani Atoll). These islands include Kanditheemu, Noomaraa, Goidhoo, Feydhoo, Fuvah, Bilehfahi, Foakaidhoo, Milandhoo, Narudhoo, Maroshi, Lhaimagu, Funadhoo, Komandoo, and Maaungoodhoo. This tour is part of a series of official visits by the President aimed at visiting all atolls in the Maldives and meeting with the atoll, island, and city councils.
The President is accompanied on this tour by several cabinet ministers and senior officials from various government institutions.
