Palestinian resistance groups have declared that they will not relinquish administrative control of Gaza to any foreign power. The mujahideen fighting for Palestinian independence made this statement one day after the cessation of the genocidal massacre carried out by the Jews against the people of Gaza. The Gaza aggression was halted after more than 67,000 people were martyred in the Jews’ terrorist attacks.
The groups that have stated there will be no opportunity to hand over Gaza’s administrative control to a foreign power include Hamas, which governs Gaza, as well as Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). In a joint statement, these groups said that the cessation of the crimes committed by the Jews to expel and displace the people of Gaza from their homeland is the result of the noble jihad carried out by the Palestinian people with courage and determination. The agreement to end the Gaza aggression between Hamas and the Jews was formulated on October 9th. This followed discussions related to a plan proposed by US President Donald Trump, the Jews’ biggest supporter. Qatar and Egypt coordinated these discussions in collaboration with the United States. The full phase of the peace agreement has now been implemented.
“We repeatedly refuse to allow foreign control [in Gaza], and we declare that the way Gaza’s administration is organized is an internal matter for the Palestinian people, and it is the Palestinian people who will do it,” the statement from the mujahideen groups said. The groups also revealed that they are preparing to hold national-level consultations among various Palestinian factions to determine how Gaza’s governance and administration will be shaped. “ThisThis will unify Palestinian thought, develop a national development framework, and rebuild state institutions on the basis of unified, robust, and transparent policies and a unified foundation,” the groups said. It is not yet clear whether Fatah, which governs the West Bank, will participate in the consultations organized by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and PFLP.
Trump had planned to temporarily hand over Gaza’s administrative control to a board called the ‘Peace Board’. And under that board, to establish a commission of technical advisors consisting of Palestinian people. Trump said he would chair the Peace Board himself. And that former British Prime Minister Tony Blair would also play a leading role on that board.
