BML ATM Service Launched in Vandhoo

Bank of Maldives (BML) ATM service has been officially launched in Vandhoo, Thaa Atoll. The BML ATM service in Vandhoo was officially inaugurated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu during his current visit to Thaa Atoll. As part of the President’s tour, it has been arranged to establish ATM services in 8 islands of Thaa Atoll, expanding BML ATM services across the entire atoll. The official ceremony to launch the BML ATM service in Th. Vandhoo was presided over by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. After inaugurating the service, he presented a commemorative bank card to the island council president.

The ceremony was attended by cabinet ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habib, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, along with other senior officials from BML.

BML stated that the ATM installed in Vandhoo will provide 24-hour cash withdrawal and deposit services, as well as bill payment and transfer services for individuals and businesses. Under the project to establish BML ATM services in outer islands, ATMs have been installed and services have begun in all inhabited islands of 13 atolls so far. As Bank of Maldives continues to implement the nationwide ATM installation project under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Development, BML’s goal is to complete this project entirely by the end of this year.
