The United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia have recognized Palestine as an independent state. Since October 7, 2023, Jews have been launching aggressive attacks on Gaza’s population in Palestine, aiming for genocide. These attacks have so far killed more than 65,000 people, while Jews are severely restricting the entry of food and aid supplies into Gaza. As a result, Gaza’s population has become starved and weakened. The number of people martyred in Gaza due to hunger is increasing day by day. As Gaza’s situation becomes visible to the entire world, public calls for Western governments to recognize Palestine’s independence are growing louder.

In this situation, to push for the entry of aid supplies into Gaza and establish lasting peace, some Western countries have decided to recognize Palestine as an independent state at the annual meeting of the UN General Assembly. While more than 140 countries had previously recognized Palestine’s independence, the UK, Canada, and Australia have now joined this list. These three countries have long been supporters of the Jews. The UK’s recognition of Palestine’s independence is particularly noteworthy, as it played a major role in the initial creation of the Jewish state. The British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, said that the humanitarian catastrophe imposed on Gaza has worsened to an unprecedented level. He stated that the Jewish government has intensified its relentless attacks on Gaza, and that these attacks, along with the state of starvation and destructive damage inflicted on Gaza, are unacceptable under any circumstances.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has welcomed the decision of the three countries, saying that this decision will pave the way for the Palestinian state to live in peace and security alongside the Jewish state. French President Emmanuel Macron has also stated that France will recognize Palestine’s independence at the annual UN General Assembly meeting scheduled to be held in New York.
