The Hamas movement, which governs Gaza in Palestine, has revealed that it is ready to work with the Red Cross to provide assistance to the captives they are holding. However, the group has set certain conditions. Hamas disclosed its willingness to cooperate with the Red Cross to aid the captives shortly after releasing videos of one of the captives they are holding. Hamas stated that they would provide aid supplies to the captives once the Zionists agree to their conditions. These conditions include stopping the genocidal airstrikes being carried out against the people of Gaza. Additionally, it includes removing the obstacles imposed by the Zionists on bringing food and humanitarian aid supplies into the city for the 2.3 million people besieged in Gaza.
The Zionist Israel said that it is believed that about 50 captives are under Hamas’ custody. And that they believe about 20 of them are still alive. Hamas had previously refused to allow international organizations the opportunity to assess their condition. The reason being the Zionists’ refusal to stop the ongoing genocide against the people of Gaza. The Zionists are also committing crimes to starve and martyr the people of Gaza. The Gaza Health Ministry said that in the past 24 hours, six more people have died of starvation. With this, the number of people who have died due to lack of food because of the Zionist blockade has risen to 175. This includes 93 children.
Egyptian media reported that trucks loaded with 1.7 tons of fuel are prepared to enter Gaza. This is fuel needed to run hospitals, bakeries, and public kitchens. However, it is unclear whether the Zionists have given permission for these trucks to enter Gaza. With the depletion of fuel, there are currently obstacles to providing health services to the people of Gaza. The Gaza Media Office said that since July, when the Zionists slightly eased the blockade on Gaza, about 1,600 trucks loaded with food and humanitarian aid have entered the city. However, eyewitnesses said that armed groups looted many of these trucks and stole the food items. Analysts believe these are groups controlled by the extremist Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu recently admitted to supporting armed groups operating in Gaza.
The number of people martyred in the genocide carried out by the Zionists since October 7, 2023, has risen to over 60,000. The majority of these are innocent women, innocent children, and the elderly who cannot move around. And the number of injured has risen to over 142,000.
