Ibrahim Ziyath, the former CEO of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), has been appointed as a Deputy CEO and a member of the Board of Directors at Maldives Ports Limited (MPL). With the appointment of Ziyath, who held a key leadership role at MTCC during President Yameen’s administration, MPL now has a total of three Deputy CEOs. The company has formally welcomed him to the post and officially confirmed that he has assumed his new responsibilities.
