President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that a contractor for the construction of the football field in HDh. Naivaadhoo has been found this month, and the actual work on the field will begin very soon. The President said this during his speech when he met with the residents of Naivaadhoo this morning. The President mentioned that Naivaadhoo is a village that has achieved great success in football, however, the football field has not been utilized. The President said that the football field will be developed with all facilities to allow its use both day and night.
“God willing, the work on the football field will begin very soon, with high standards up to the installation of lights. When the project is completed, as I mentioned, it will be fully equipped with fencing, lighting, and all other necessary features. God willing, this will commence in the very near future as I have described,” the President said. The President stated that this is a very important development for the youth of Naivaadhoo and for those who engage in sports.
