The President has arrived in Dhan arrived in Dhangethi of Alif Dhaal Atoll as the first stop of his trip to the inhabited islands of South Ari Atoll, which began today. Upon President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s arrival in Dhangethi, he was warmly welcomed by senior officials of the island’s institutions, staff, and members of the public. During this trip, it is scheduled to lay the foundation for the new Council Office building, Police Station, and Fitness and Recreation Center in Dhangethi. The President will also meet with the Councils, Women’s Development Committees, and heads of institutions to discuss the development needs of the island and the most desired issues of the people. Additionally, the President will meet with the public to inquire about their well-being.
In this trip to the inhabited islands of South Ari Atoll, besides Dhangethi, the President is scheduled to visit Dhigurah, Dhidhdhoo, Fenfushi, Maamigili, Hangnaameedhoo, Omadhoo, Kunburudhoo, Mahibadhoo, and Mandhoo. This trip is part of a series of visits the President is undertaking to all atolls in the Maldives, meeting with atoll, island, and city councils. The President is accompanied by a delegation including some ministers and senior officials from various government institutions.
