President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has visited the connected islands of Addu. Upon the President’s arrival at Feydhoo in Addu City, institutional leaders and people of various age groups extended a warm welcome to him. A long queue was formed to welcome the President. During this visit, the President will meet with the residents with the residents of Feydhoo, assess their conditions, listen to their needs, and share his vision for the development of these islands.
As part of his visit to Feydhoo, the President will inaugurate the development work of the Feydhoo Futsal Ground and lay the foundation stone for a mosque in Feydhoo. It has also been arranged for him to commence the road construction project and launch the harbor development work in Feydhoo. The trip also includes the initiation of projects in Maradhoo-Feydhoo and Hithadhoo. This visit is part of a series of trips the President is undertaking to visit all atolls in the Maldives and meet with island and city councils. During this visit, the President is accompanied by several ministers and senior officials from various government institutions.
