
Real Madrid has decided to make Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior their most expensive player. This is by having him sign a five-year contract.
The talks between Vinicius and Real Madrid regarding contract renewal have been successful so far. The forward, who won FIFA’s Best Player award last season, is being offered a salary of 20 million euros per year after tax by Real. This amount is estimated to reach 30 million with sponsorships and bonuses. Thus, he will receive at least 100 million euros over five years. Vinicius’ current contract with Real is set to expire in 2027. Vinicius joined Real Madrid in 2018. So far, he has won the Spanish League three times with the club.
