Manchester United clinched a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Fulham in last night’s English Premier League encounter, thanks to a decisive last-minute goal.
The match, held at Old Trafford, saw United take an early lead in the 19th minute through a goal by Casemiro. Prior to this opening goal, the referee had awarded a penalty to United; however, the decision was subsequently overturned following a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review.
Manchester United entered the second half with a 1-0 lead. Eleven minutes after the restart, Matheus Cunha found the back of the net, doubling the advantage for the home side.
Fulham mounted a late comeback, starting with a successful penalty converted by Raul Jimenez with just five minutes of regulation time remaining. Six minutes later, Kevin scored an equalizer for Fulham, momentarily silencing the home crowd as the match appeared to be heading for a draw.
However, in the fourth minute of injury time, Benjamin Sesko scored the winning goal for Manchester United, securing all three points in a dramatic finish.
With this result, Manchester United moves up to fourth place in the league standings with 41 points from 24 matches. Fulham remains in eighth position with 34 points.
