U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that the Hamas group, which governs Gaza in Palestine, must lay down their weapons, and that he has informed the group that their weapons will be forcibly seized if they do not comply. The inhumane, aggressive attacks that the Jews had been carrying out on Gaza since October 7, 2023, have been brought to an end this week under an agreement established between the Jews and Hamas. Trump played a leading role in formulating this agreement. Under this agreement, both parties have exchanged hostages and prisoners, and Hamas laying down their weapons is also a condition of the agreement. However, Hamas has not publicly stated so far that they will lay down their weapons.
Speaking at a meeting held at the White House, Trump said that if Hamas does not lay down their weapons, the U.S. will seize weapons from Hamas. He said it wouldn’t take much time to do so, and that the use of force might be necessary to achieve this. He stated that Hamas has been informed of this and that the group has agreed to lay down their weapons. Since the end of the aggression, Hamas has been attacking collaborators associated with the Jews. Trump has endorsed attacking collaborators to maintain security.
