Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed has stated that the Township Project will elevate the Maldivian economy to new heights. During the signing ceremony with investors of the Aila Sustainable Township Project, the Minister emphasized that this project will play a crucial role in advancing the country’s economy to a new level.
Minister Saeed highlighted that townships being developed in line with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s “Vision 2040″ will bring fresh economic progress to the Maldives. This township will feature world-class healthcare services, a tourism school, and the capacity to generate 60% of its electricity from renewable energy sources, along with a zone dedicated to modern agriculture, aquaculture, and mariculture.”
