
The Maldivian Creative Exhibition 2025 has opened with colorful activities. The exhibition, held at the Hulhumale Central Park, was inaugurated by the First Couple at a special ceremony held tonight. The Maldivian Creative Exhibition 2025 or Maldives Expo 2025 is an exhibition organized under the initiative and guidance of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu with the aim of increasing productivity and expanding business in the Maldives, targeting creativity. This is the largest exhibition held in the Maldives targeting the creative sector.
The exhibition was opened to the public with boduberu and various other activities. And as the most special activity, kite flying was also included.

After officially opening the Maldivian Creative Exhibition, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Madam Sajida Mohamed visited various stalls of the exhibition and observed the activities taking place at those stalls. In addition to the special area designated for showcasing the products featured in this year’s exhibition, the public will have the opportunity to experience different skills, artistry, and creative experiences.
As such, special areas have been designated under the names of Creative Economic District, Digital and Innovative District, Entertainment District, and Market District. The First Couple visited all these districts and observed their activities. The Maldivian Creative Exhibition or Maldives Expo 2025 is an exhibition that will showcase the skilled creations of artists from all corners of the Maldives, including traditional Maldivian craftsmanship and modern artistry, under one roof.

Exhibition standards reach new heights with diverse products and districts!
This exhibition will feature traditional Maldivian cultural creations as well as modern Maldivian products, skilled Maldivian handicrafts, and entertainment industry creations and presentations. In addition to showcasing Maldivian creativity and skills, this exhibition will see the participation of Maldivian micro, small, and medium enterprises. As such, the exhibition will include the Creative Economy District, Digital and Innovative District, Entertainment District, and Market Place District. Each of these districts is a district that carries out various activities related to that field with the participation of businesses.
• Creative Economy District: This district will showcase the skills of Maldivian artists. It will feature the skills of painters and musicians, as well as Maldivian culture and traditions.
• Digital and Innovative District: Maldivian innovative thinking and development will be seen in this district. It will showcase Maldivian developers and Maldivian technological products.
• Entertainment District: Various traditional Maldivian entertainment activities, how they have changed over time, and various entertainment-related activities will be seen. Some activities are also planned to be carried out live.
• Market Place District: This is a district specially dedicated to micro, small, and medium enterprises. It is a special district for marketing and selling Maldivian products. In this district, a B2B environment has been established for marketing and selling Maldivian products to local and international markets. This is a very important district for businesses.

A total of 383 participants from 14 categories and 82 sub-categories have participated in the 9-day exhibition. The highest number of entries are in the handicraft sector. The exhibition, which runs from the 23rd to the 31st of this month at the Hulhumale Central Park, will be open to the public every day from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
The government says that this exhibition will serve as a catalyst for showcasing the skills of Maldivian artists in one place, appreciating Maldivian creativity and creators, and sustainably producing the creations of Maldivian artists.
