Minister of Finance Moosa Zameer has stated that the financial progress and service expansion of the Bank of Maldives (BML) represent a significant contribution to the overall development of the Maldives. Speaking at the inauguration of the new BML Kudahuvadhoo Branch building, the Minister emphasized that a stronger national bank serves as a vital catalyst for economic expansion. He further noted that the decision to establish 12 new branches across the Maldives this year, including 70 US Dollar ATMs, will provide substantial convenience to both the tourism industry and general businesses. Additionally, the Minister highlighted the importance of creating pathways that enable the bank to participate directly in commercial activities.
