Former national coach Ali Suzain has been appointed as the coach of New Radiant Sports Club.
As Suzain takes on the role of coach for the team preparing to compete in the First Division this year, New Radiant has been actively recruiting players to strengthen the team.
Suzain is one of the most successful coaches in the Maldives, having led Victory Sports Club and Maziya Sports & Recreation to numerous achievements. His appointment as New Radiant’s coach marks the first time he has agreed to serve New Radiant, which is considered the biggest rival of his former club, Victory.
Suzain is also the chairman of the Diamond Jubilee Committee formed by the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of football in the Maldives.
He was last seen in a coaching role six years ago when he coached Club Green Streets.
