“Project Aila,” currently underway in Noonu Atoll, is a pioneering eco-friendly sustainable township developed under the Maldives’ first Special Economic Zone (SEZ) framework. This ambitious USD 750 million mega-project is built upon an integrated model powered by renewable energy and self-sustaining infrastructure. In addition to luxury resorts, the development will feature world-class healthcare services, specialized training centers, and modern agricultural facilities.
With land reclamation already finalized, the project is scheduled for completion by 2028. This landmark investment is set to become a significant catalyst for economic growth and the creation of diverse employment opportunities across the Maldives.
