According to statistics released by the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), the number of private jet arrivals to the Maldives has seen a remarkable increase of 166 percent compared to the same period last year. Between February 28 and the 14th of this month, a total of 186 jets landed in the country, averaging approximately 12 arrivals per day.
MACL noted that this significant influx of high-net-worth individuals comes as many seek a secure and peaceful destination amidst the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, with the Maldives being increasingly preferred for its safety and stability.
