As part of these adjustments, the price of onions has been reduced from MVR 12 to MVR 10 per kilogram. Furthermore, the price of a wholesale sack of onions has been slashed from MVR 250 to MVR 190.

Regarding potatoes, the price per kilogram has decreased from MVR 14 to MVR 12. Notably, the price of a sack of potatoes has seen a significant reduction, dropping from MVR 300 to MVR 160. STO informed that these essential goods are available for retail purchase at STO People’s Choice outlets. Additionally, wholesale arrangements have been facilitated through STO’s wholesale centers for those requiring bulk quantities.
