State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has revealed that the Mechanical Training Center being constructed in K. Thulusdhoo is a project designed and built by the company’s own employees. The construction of this building began in June of last year. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), STELCO’s Managing Director Hussain Fahmy said that he commends the dedication shown by the company’s employees in making this project a reality.
Fahmy noted that STELCO employees have been directly involved in every phase of the project, from developing the concept to the completion of construction work. He also highlighted that the building’s design was entirely done by STELCO employees.
This center aims to train youth in the field of mechanical engineering, as well as provide training for current STELCO employees. It is worth noting that this project demonstrates the importance STELCO places on the training and development of its employees.
