
As part of the government’s strategic policy to strengthen the Maldives’ transport network, the national airline, Maldivian, has launched flight operations connecting the four southern atolls. Utilizing Addu City as a central hub, these scheduled flights to Fuvahmulah, Kooddoo, and Kaadedhdhoo are expected to provide significant convenience for healthcare, education, trade, and tourism. Operated using 15-seater aircraft, this service offers affordable fares to the public and represents a pivotal step towards the economic development of the entire region.
