The President highlighted that synchronizing these two elections would eliminate the opportunity for the administration to exert undue influence to secure parliamentary seats, emphasizing that this is a crucial decision made for national stability and the best interests of the citizens. A public referendum on this matter is scheduled to be held in conjunction with the local council elections next April.
