Hussain Thoufeeq Ali, Managing Director of Silver Sands, has announced that the company is working on launching three new operations. He made this statement at a special ceremony celebrating Silver Sands Private Limited’s 25th anniversary.
Silver Sands Private Limited held a special ceremony to mark its 25th anniversary at Kurumba Maldives. The event was attended by the company’s founding members, individuals working in the Maldivian tourism and environmental sectors, and the company’s employees.
Speaking as the guest of honor, Abdul Azeez Abdul Hakeem, Vice President of Atmosphere Foundation, said it was an honor to participate in Silver Sands Private Limited’s 25th-anniversary celebration.
In his speech, Hussain Thoufeeq Ali, Managing Director of Silver Sands Private Limited, thanked the entire Silver Sands team and their partners for their support and cooperation. “This silver jubilee is a celebration of every individual involved in our story, past and present. On behalf of the board, I want to thank everyone who has contributed to Silver Sands’ progress and success,” said Managing Director Hussain Thoufeeq Ali.
Thoufeeq highlighted the company’s achievements over the past 25 years. “We have served 20 operations in the Maldives. And tonight, I’m proud to announce that we are working on launching three new operations in the next 24 months. We sincerely thank thosecerely thank those who have helped us reach this point,” said Managing Director Hussain Thoufeeq Ali.
At the ceremony, employees who have worked at Silver Sands for more than 15 years were recognized and awarded. Awards were given to 15 individuals who have served the company in various capacities.
Silver Sands Private Limited was established in 2000 as an inbound travel agency. In 2005, the company expanded into water activities at resorts, including diving, fishing, excursions, and water sports centers. Currently, Silver Sands operates 13 dive and water sports centers at 15 resorts in the Maldives.
Additionally, in 2013, the company further expanded its business by opening showrooms in Male’. These include Evo Home, Evo Solutions, Evo Flooring, and Evo Surfaces, which provide household items.
