Ahmed Shafiu, State Minister at the Ministry of Higher Education and Development of Skills and Talents, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Island Aviation Services Limited (IAS), which operates the national airline Maldivian.
Announcing this, IAS made a post today welcoming Shafiu to the position.
Previously, this position was held by Mohamed Mihad. He was removed from the position during last August.
Shafiu has previously served in this position as well.
