Self-service ATM service has been launched in Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo. The self-service ATM service in Hanimaadhoo was inaugurated during President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s current tour of Haa Dhaalu Atoll. As part of his tour to Haa Dhaalu Atoll, the President visited Hanimaadhoo and officially launched the ATM service on the island. After inaugurating the ATM service, he withdrew money from the ATM. Following the launch of the ATM service, a commemorative bank card was presented to the Island Council.
According to Bank of Maldives (BML), the self-service ATM installed in Hanimaadhoo will provide 24-hour cash withdrawal and deposit services for individuals and businesses, in addition to bill payment and transfer services. Furthermore, the bank stated that this ATM will also offer credit card and loan payment services. There is already a BML ATM at Hanimaadhoo Airport. However, that ATM only provides cash withdrawal service.
