In accordance with the pledge made by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the national airline, Maldivian, has officially launched scheduled seaplane services to N. Velidhoo.
The flights are scheduled to operate twice weekly, every Wednesday and Friday. Under a special promotional fare dedicated to Maldivian citizens, one-way tickets are priced at MVR 999. To support these operations, a dedicated seaplane platform and a passenger lounge have been established in Velidhoo to ensure a seamless experience for travelers.
This new service is expected to bring significant advancements to the tourism sector and the overall transportation infrastructure of Noonu Atoll.
