The first ATM under the “BML ATMs across Maldives” project was established in February of this year. Impressively, within a mere nine months, the bank has successfully deployed ATMs in 105 islands spanning all 20 atolls of the Maldives. BML characterizes the swift completion of this extensive project as an unprecedented success for the Maldives. This endeavor was executed to the highest standards, with the participation of numerous stakeholders, involving significant effort to ensure prompt service delivery.

The bank further highlighted that due to efficient cost management and streamlined project execution, the current cost of establishing these ATMs represents a 33% reduction compared to previous ATM deployment expenses.
