It has been decided that Brazil’s Ronaldinho will present the award to the world’s best player at this year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony on Monday night. He is a former world’s best player who has won this award twice. With Ronaldinho being chosen to hand over the award this time, it is believed that the recipient will be a Barcelona player. This is because he is a Barcelona legend and achieved the best player status while playing for that club. On the other hand, he is also a player who has played for PSG.

This year’s award is most fiercely contested between two Barcelona players and a former Barcelona player, France’s Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward Ousmane Dembélé. From Barcelona, the contenders are Spain’s talented 19-year-old attacking midfielder Lamine Yamal and the team’s Brazilian forward Raphinha. Among these, many view Lamine Yamal as the closest to winning this award. However, when considering team success, Dembélé has achieved the most significant victories. With his excellent performance, PSG has won the French League, French Cup, and the European Champions League. They also played in the final of the Club World Cup.

Barcelona won the Spanish Cup, Spanish Super Cup, and the Spanish League. Barcelona was eliminated from the Champions League in the semi-finals.
