
The third phase of the road development project in Thinadhoo City has been officially awarded to the Road Development Corporation (RDC) for MVR 341 million. The agreement was signed during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure by Minister Dr. Abdulla Muththalib and the Managing Director of RDC, Ibrahim Nazim.
Under this project, which is scheduled to be completed within 1,440 days, asphalt will be laid on 50 roads across the city, along with the installation of a comprehensive stormwater drainage system. The scope of work also encompasses the development of major roads in newly inhabited areas. This initiative is a key component of the President’s pledge to modernize all urban roads in the country to contemporary standards.
