Gasim Ibrahim, Leader of the Jumhooree Party (JP), has stated that the nation’s security and prosperity can only be ensured by supporting the policies of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. Speaking at a special JP function, Gasim urged citizens to vote for candidates of the ruling People’s National Congress (PNC) in the upcoming parliamentary elections. He emphasized that the government must be given the opportunity to foster national stability and development, asserting that the President’s leadership is crucial in navigating the country out of its current economic challenges.
Highlighting that previous administrations have left the nation in significant debt, Gasim accused the MDP government of actions contrary to Islamic principles and the law. He further noted the necessity of amending the Constitution within Islamic frameworks to safeguard national independence and dignity. Throughout his remarks, Gasim reaffirmed his full support for President Muizzu’s policies and repeatedly called for cooperation with the government in the interest of national welfare.
