Thousands of supporters of right-wing ideologies took to the streets of London, the capital of the United Kingdom, resulting in significant in significant clashes with the police. The protest, organized by those supporting the right-wing against equality and social assistance, saw participation from over 110,000 people. The main aim of the demonstration was to call for stringent measures to stop foreign immigrants from entering the UK and to voice opposition against the services and rights provided to immigrants by the government. This is considered the largest protest of its kind in recent UK history.

The protest, organized under the name “Unite the Kingdom,” was arranged by Tommy Robinson, an activist who advocates for nationalism, culture, social order, and limited government involvement in economic matters. Robinson is known for his extreme views against allowing foreign citizens to immigrate to the UK. Additionally, he has been convicted of numerous criminal offenses.

The turnout of over 110,000 participants in the “Unite the Kingdom” protest caught London police off guard. As protestors attempted to move beyond the authorized routes, clashes erupted with the police. According to London police, protesters threw bottles and other objects at officers. In the confrontations, 26 police officers were injured, with four in serious condition. Police detained 25 individuals for attacking officers.

“We are working to identify those who attempted to confront police and cause unrest. In the coming days and weeks, the police will take firm action against them,” said Assistant Commissioner Matt Twist. He also warned that more arrests would be made of those who caused disturbances during the march.

Many protesters carried the UK flag, but observers noted that some were also waving American and Zionist Israeli flags. Protesters voiced opposition against Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his government. They also called for the deportation of immigrants and those who have already settled in the UK.

“Today marks the beginning of a cultural revolution in the UK. This is our time,” Robinson told the marchers, describing it as the start of a new wave of nationalism. Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla and the social media platform X, also addressed the protesters via video. Musk, a South African citizen who also holds Canadian and American citizenship, encouraged the protesters to overthrow and change the UK government.

In response to the “Unite the Kingdom” march, the anti-racism group “Stand Against Racism” held a simultaneous march with about 5,000 participants. They called for maintaining peace and harmony and spoke out against actions that could breed hatred in society.

Police stated that over 1,600 officers were deployed to control the “Unite the Kingdom” march participants.
