President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is scheduled to meet with residents of Hulhumalé Phase 2 tonight. This meeting is part of an ongoing series of engagements the President is holding with citizens from various neighborhoods across Malé.
The President is actively conducting these meetings to foster close interaction with the public and directly address their concerns. Tonight’s gathering, where the President will engage with citizens to hear their views, consultations, and concerns, will commence at 20:30 at Salahuddin School. The government has extended an open invitation to all residents residing in Hulhumalé Phase 2 to attend this important meeting.
These consultations are a cornerstone of the President’s policy to work closely with the people and gather their opinions and feedback. Having previously visited all inhabited islands across the Maldives to meet with residents, the President is now focusing on engaging with communities within the different districts of Malé. His engagements in the Malé area began with residents of Villimalé, followed by meetings with the communities of Machangoalhi, Maafannu, Henveiru, and Galolhu. Additionally, the President also met with small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) business owners last night.
