Providing ATM services on all inhabited islands is a pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. In line with this pledge, the Bank of Maldives (BML) is working on establishing ATM services on 100 new islands this year.
As part of his ongoing trip to South Maalhosmadulu Atoll, the President inaugurated the ATM service in Hithadhoo today. After launching the service, the President withdrew money from the ATM. Following the inauguration of the ATM service, a commemorative bank card was presented to the island council.
