President Honors the High Achievers’ Award Ceremony

The President, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, has honored the final session of the High Achievers’ Award Ceremony. The High Achievers’ Award Ceremony was conducted in five sessions. The final session, held to present awards to students who achieved the best results in Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations, took place at the Social Center. The President, ministers, and senior government officials participated in this ceremony.

At the beginning of the “High Achievers’ Award” ceremony, a commemorative gift was presented to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. During tonight’s session of the “High Achievers’ Award,” 572 students were presented with awards. This includes 42 students who achieved 10th place, 49 students who achieved 9th place, 49 students who achieved 8th place, 51 students who achieved 7th place, 56 students who achieved 6th place, 41 students who achieved 5th place, 31 students who achieved 4th place, 20 students who achieved 3rd place, 17 students who achieved 2nd place, and 8 students who achieved 1st place in the Higher Secondary examinations.

In this ceremony, 32 students who ranked in the world’s top 10 for the Outstanding Pearson Learners Award in the 2024 Higher Secondary examinations were presented with awards. Additionally, 57 students who achieved first place worldwide in individual subjects in the Secondary education final examinations, and two students who achieved first place and two students who achieved first place worldwide for the Outstanding Pearson Learners Award were presented with awards at this event. Furthermore, the President presented awards to 21 students who ranked in the top 10 of the Secondary education examinations.

In addition to these awards, commemorative certificates were presented to 85 students who received the High Achievers Scholarship. The President also presented special scholarships and awards to 11 students who ranked first in the top 10 of the Higher Secondary education examinations. More than 1800 students achieved the High Achievers’ Award for obtaining the best results in Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations for the 2023-2024 academic year.
